Gaspard marks 3rd anniversary with “Trouble de fête”, an nitrogen NEIPA brewed with Siboire

Brasserie Gaspard is celebrating its third anniversary with a collaboration that is already generating attention within Quebec’s craft beer scene. Named Trouble de fête, the new nitrogenated NEIPA in cans was brewed in partnership with Siboire Microbrasserie and will officially launch on June 6 at noon in a limited release.

Designed as a festive, texture-driven beer, Trouble de fête takes a softer and creamier approach than a traditional NEIPA thanks to the use of nitrogen. The aromatic profile is built around a trio of hops widely appreciated in modern craft brewing: Riwaka, Motueka, and Sabro.

Riwaka and Motueka bring bright tropical and citrus-forward notes, while Sabro adds a rounder character with a subtle coconut nuance that supports the beer’s smooth, enveloping mouthfeel. The result is described as an expressive NEIPA built for a more immersive drinking experience, where texture plays as much of a role as aroma and bitterness.

Beyond the beer itself, the collaboration reflects a broader intent to highlight positive momentum within Quebec’s brewing industry. For Brasserie Gaspard, working with Siboire Microbrasserie is also a way of acknowledging a brewery that has become a benchmark in the province, both for its beers and its hospitality-driven venues.

The message behind the release is clear: in a period where many microbreweries are navigating more complex market conditions, some are leaning into collaboration, shared expertise, and creative projects as a way to keep pushing the local scene forward.

This anniversary release also reinforces a growing trend in craft beer: breweries are increasingly focusing on experiential products, where texture, serving format, and collaborative identity can be just as important as the beer style itself.

Trouble de fête will be available starting June 6 at Gaspard, in limited quantities.
