On 20 November, the Honorable Mention for the LENA rolling pin at the 2014 grandignEtico International Award Gala , one of the most prestigious design awards in Milan. Designed and manufactured in Quebec, this roll is made of wood and consists of walnut and maple.
Last April, this project was nominated among 22 other international designers and this year, LENA wins an honorable mention. The prize is awarded to companies that design and manufacture their products according to parameters of quality and technological innovation and with particular attention to the environment and ethics. The selection committee, made up of 21 experts in the fields of design, ergonomics, marketing, research and innovation and industry, selects the winning projects on the basis of 17 targeted criteria.
Lionella Bertazzon, economic affairs attaché ( Antenne économique du Québec in Milan ), went on stage to collect the prize. For this occasion, a book was produced in which we find the GrandesignEtico winners of the 2014 edition.
