The DUX Awards 2027 are now open for applications, inviting food and beverage companies, organizations and initiatives to showcase projects helping shape the future of the food industry.
Now in its 15th year, the DUX Awards recognize companies contributing to a better food offering. For brands and producers, the opportunity goes beyond recognition: it provides a platform to position products and initiatives in front of industry stakeholders, potential partners and buyers.
For an emerging or established food company, a DUX application can put a new product, innovation or business initiative into a broader industry conversation — particularly as differentiation, distribution and commercial positioning become increasingly important.
The opening of applications also marks the launch of the DUX Grand Gathering 2027, taking place on February 17, 2027. The event will bring together the broader food ecosystem through five complementary components: MATCH, TALK, LAB, GALA and VILLAGE.
The format combines awards with networking, industry discussions and opportunities to connect with other players across the food sector. For companies, it offers a setting to present their work, build relationships and strengthen their position within the Canadian food market.
Companies developing a product or initiative with a positive impact can now submit their applications.
