After months of transition and its highly publicized move back to Canadian production, Sour Puss has officially returned to retail shelves across the country. The iconic flavoured liqueur is now available coast to coast through provincial liquor boards and authorized retailers, marking a major milestone in the brand’s Canadian comeback.

The announcement follows Phillips Distilling Company’s decision to relocate Sour Puss production to Quebec, a move that generated significant media attention and renewed enthusiasm among longtime fans of the brand.
Consumers can once again find all four signature flavours:
- Red (Raspberry)
- Green (Green Apple)
- Blue (Blue Tropical)
- Gold (Passionfruit Mango)
To celebrate the relaunch, the company is also introducing Sour Puss Shocktails, a new line of 7% ABV spirit-based ready-to-drink cocktails. The first release, Raspberry Lemonade, arrives in slim 355 mL cans, targeting the rapidly growing RTD category and younger legal-age consumers seeking convenient, flavour-forward beverages.
Beyond the product launch, the return of Sour Puss highlights the commercial value of nostalgia. For many Canadians, the brand recalls late-night bars, college parties and colourful cocktails from the late 1990s and early 2000s. By combining that emotional connection with modern RTD innovation, the company is bridging generations of consumers.
For the beverage industry, Sour Puss demonstrates that heritage brands don’t simply survive on nostalgia—they thrive when they successfully blend familiar identity with contemporary drinking occasions.
