The company operates three breweries, two vibrant taprooms/retail stores and boasts some of the most popular brands in market.

Job Summary: We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Brewer to join our production team. Reporting to the Brew Master, you will possess a solid understanding of the brewing process and have commercial experience producing Beer, Cider, RTDs and/or Sodas. You will possess a keen attention to detail and cleanliness, along with the ability to work in a dynamic environment. This position is full-time, permanent, mainly Monday to Friday, and with occasional work on evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

· Day to day operation of the brewhouse and support equipment, producing high-quality products according to established recipes and specifications.

· Cellar work: monitoring fermentation, cropping yeast, dry-hopping, centrifuge separation and micro-filtration, tank cleaning, beer transfers, etc.

· Operate, clean and perform basic maintenance on standard brewing and support equipment.

· Monitoring Wastewater Treatment System operations and performance.

· Document and input information into cloud brewery management system (EKOS).

· Follow brewery SOP’s and testing methods.

· Conduct regular quality control/assurance measures and participate in sensory panels.

· Work with chemicals, compressed gases, hot liquids and other workplace hazards in manner which fully complies with health, safety and regulatory requirements.

Position Experience and Requirements

· Minimum One year’s practical experience as a Brewer/Assistant Brewer at a commercial brewery.

· Formal science or brewing-related training would be an asset.

· Ability to lift 55lbs+ (25kg) and work in a dynamic, hands-on environment.

· Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment would be an asset.

· Flexible, detail-oriented, team-player and adaptable to a fast-paced production setting.
