We are adding a Sales Representative position to our small and mighty team at Tatamagouche Brewing Co. If you are looking for an opportunity to work with a Nova Scotia Craft Brewery, are a hard-working, self starter – we want to hear from you!

Role Objective:

Tatamagouche Brewing Co. is seeking one enthusiastic and driven person to join our Sales Team as a Sales Representative.

About Us:

Tatamagouche Brewing Co. is a family owned and run brewery on Nova Scotia’s North Shore, in the heart of Tatamagouche. In 2014, we converted an old butcher shop into a community brewery where we make small handcrafted batches of beer. Fast forward to 2024, we are celebrating our 10th anniversary and continuing to make delicious craft beer and welcoming change and growth every day!

Job Description:

Based in Halifax Regional Municipality. As our Sales Representative you will work closely with our Sales Manager and be responsible for the promotion and sale of Tatamagouche Brewing Co. products, build relationships with local businesses and vendors, participate in and increase brand awareness at industry events across the Maritimes.

Responsibilities:

  • Sell and promote Tata Brew products to retailers, bars, restaurants, and other establishments in the Maritimes.
  • Communicate with clients/licensees on availability and provide knowledgeable information on Tatamagouche Brewing products.
  • Provide timely communication with Tata Brew’s management team.
  • Help organize and participate in promotional and industry events such as beer festivals, tastings, sporting and sponsored events alongside our Sales and Marketing team.
  • Ensure company equipment, property and marketing materials are used in an appropriate and professional manner.
  • Deliver assistance in inventory management with Tatamagouche Brewing Co. licensees.
  • Provide written and verbal feedback on sales-related activities, opportunities, and reports.
  • Assist in delivery of product to licensees.
  • Assist with record-keeping, data entry, and other administrative tasks related to Tata Brew sales activities.

  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both in a team and independently
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments
  • Knowledge and/or passion for craft beer
  • Desire to learn about the craft beer industry
  • Outstanding time-management and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and other computer software programs
  • Valid drivers license
  • 19+ years of age

Typical Work Day

Working alongside our Sales Manager on day to day sales tasks such as licensee meetings, deliveries, and promotional events. Maintaining positive relationships with clients and building new ones. Hosting NSLC tastings and helping with organizing industry related events.

Requirements

What’s Most Important:

Having a positive attitude, passion for craft beer (or learning about it), and being a self-starter. Our team is small and dynamic, we work well in a small team setting and want to ensure that our new Sales Representative is a key player in our great team!

Occupational Requirements:

  • Clean driver’s abstract
  • Ability to lift 60lbs ( 20L Keg)
